Charity Christmas single
1914 – The Carol of Christmas is supporting Armed Forces families.
Our promise is that RAF personnel, past, present and future, their partners and children will be supported whenever they are in need.
We spend over £21 million supporting 68,000 members of the RAF family. 88 pence of every pound you donate goes directly to support the RAF family.
We are here for the RAF family: from children growing up on stations, to those serving in the RAF today, to the veterans of all conflicts past and present.
10 December 2014 - Prime Minister David Cameron received an early Christmas present from the RAF Benevolent Fund today when we delivered a copy of our Christmas single to him and wife Samantha.
09 December 2014 - 2015 will see people across the country commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain – the most significant aerial combat campaign in WWII and undoubtedly the RAF’s finest hour.
05 December 2014 - Following the soar away success of Planes 2: Fire and Rescue in cinemas, Disney launched the film on DVD this week and gave RAF families an opportunity to watch the high-flying comedy at RAF stations around the country.
03 December 2014 - This week saw us embarking on a campaign of a different kind – we released a Christmas single with the wonderfully talented RAF Spitfire Choir and Flight Lieutenant Matt Little from RAF College Cranwell. Raising money for us, The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the single pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the Great War. Accompanied by an equally moving video, the song is racing up the charts and we now have the festive number one spot in our sights!
25 November 2014 - Last week the RAF Benevolent Fund held its first full race day event at Chepstow Racecourse in the chilly but beautiful November sunshine. Regional Fundraiser Cerys Sadler tells us more.
