    Team's 102-mile charity challenge

    19 November 2014 - A team made up of RAF personnel and soldiers recently completed a 102-mile run to raise money for our work and ABF The Soldiers' Charity. Warrant Officer Phil Marland, who took part, tells us more.

    10 November 2014 - "I'm glad God's not deaf," said Wally Banford, 84, as he was fitted for hearing aids. Wally contacted the RAF Benevolent Fund this summer for help with hearing aids and we arranged for him to visit the headquarters of Starkey, a world leader in hearing aids.

    I will be remembering my D-Day colleagues this Remembrance Day

    06 November 2014 - On D-Day, 6 June 1944, Sergeant Lee Wrake was just 19 when he landed on Omaha Beach. He was responsible for transporting vehicles safely onto shore. It was during this time that he saved a drowning man who was hit in the stomach and then Lee himself was hit in the chest by shrapnel. Every Remembrance Day Lee remembers his fallen colleagues who lost their lives on D-Day.
