How to book

Priority is given to the serving RAF couples or families with welfare needs, for example, sickness, disability, bereavement, convalescence after an accident or injury, or family issues associated with long absences. The sea cottages are also available for RAF veterans.

Booking procedure

If you'd like to come and stay, please follow these instructions:

1. Download and complete our application form - Word 56KB. The application form can be completed electronically or printed out and returned by post.

2. If you are currently serving, take your completed application to your station’s OC PMS, or a senior officer, for them to complete their sections. Otherwise, please contact SSAFA or RAFA in order to meet with one of their local caseworkers so they can complete the additional sections on the form.

3. Send the form to: Shirley Steeples RN, General Manager, Princess Marina House, Seafield Road, Rustington, West Sussex BN16 2JG or email the form to shirley.steeples@rafbf.org.uk.

You'll usually hear from us within a couple of weeks, unless your booking is made at the last minute.

How much does it cost

Seacot House is open all year round and is available to RAF families at the affordable rate of £175 for any week of the year.

If you have financial difficulties, you may also be able to apply for a grant from the care services team at the RAF Benevolent Fund to help you pay for the cost of a stay.

Stays are limited to two weeks. Shorter stays of three nights or more are possible, at £25 per night.
