Gold Challenge is the charity challenge where you take on Olympic or Paralympic sports to raise money for charity.

Choose one of three fantastic challenges and you can help raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund.
2012 Minute Challenge
This challenge is great for teams or those individuals who want to do something special in 2012. You or your team should aim to complete 2012 minutes of activity in any chosen Olympic and Paralympic sport.
You can do it bit by bit or all in one go - why not cycle for a continuous 2012 minutes?
You can even see how far you can go in 2012 minutes with the Gold Challene competitive league tables.There is no minimum fundraising amount, but why not aim to raise £2012.
Complete your challenge and fundraising by the day of the Olympics opening ceremony, 27 July 2012.
What you should aim to do
You or your team should aim to complete 2012 minutes of activity via one or more of the Olympic or Paralympic sports.
- Running
- Walking
- Cycling
- Swimming
- Canoeing/Kayaking
- Horse riding
- Rowing
- Sailing
- Windsurfing
- Wheelchair
- Other - decide your own way of completing the 2012 minute challenge.
2012 km Challenge
This challenge is great for teams or those individuals who want to push themselves. There are three possible levels depending on how adventurous you are feeling:
- 2012 km
- 201.2 km
- 20.12 km
Gold Challenge In A Gym
This challenge is a gym based version of the 2012km Challenge and is great for keen gym goers. Individuals or teams complete an aggregate distance of 2012km by one or more of the following sports:
- Running
- Swimming
- Cycling
- Walking
- Rowing
- Canoeing
Whichever challenge you choose, we will support you and provide help and advice with fundraising, helping you to set a target and reach your sponsorship potential.
