Thank you so much for thinking about making a donation in memory of a friend or loved one. We are honoured and touched that you have thought of the RAF Benevolent Fund. Your donation will make a real difference to the lives of the RAF family.
You can donate online, by post, by phone or arrange a charitable collection at the funeral. And of course please help us claim Gift Aid – it means your donation could be worth around 25% more to us, at no extra cost to you.
If you would like us to write to the family or next of kin we will be happy to do so - please ask. So if you have any queries email tribute@rafbf.org.uk or call us on 020 7307 3444.
How to give in memory
Online
To make a donation in memory online simply follow the online donation process and choose the amount you want to donate; after you enter your name on the following page please check the box: ‘My donation is on behalf of someone else’. You will then be asked for some more details.
If you would like us to write to the family or next of kin please ask, and we will be happy to do so.
By post
Please send cheques to our freepost address:
FREEPOST REMEMBERING SOMEONE SPECIAL

Please make all cheques payable to ‘RAF Benevolent Fund’. Do please include your name and address and the details of the person you are remembering.
If you donate by cheque please complete and return the Gift Aid form (PDF 500KB) so we can reclaim the tax on your donations.
By phone
You can make a donation over the phone by calling our supporter care team on 020 7307 3376. Please have your credit or debit card details available.
Organise a collection
Would you like to remember a relative, friend or colleague in this special way?
It’s quite simple to organise a collection for a funeral. We will provide you collection envelopes for donations in lieu of flowers - so simply get in touch. Or ask the funeral director to organise the collection on your behalf.
If you use our collection envelopes it means we can claim Gift Aid. So with a donation of £40.00, we could receive an additional £10.00 from the Government at no extra cost to you or others.
To order collection envelopes please get in touch with our supporter care team on 020 7307 3376.
You could also:
- Ask friends and family to donate online. You could print the web address – www.rafbf.org/donate - on the order of service.
- Ask those in attendance at the funeral to make their donations directly. Cheques should be made payable to the RAF Benevolent Fund and sent to FREEPOST REMEMBERING SOMEONE SPECIAL, RAF Benevolent Fund, 67 Portland Place, London W1B 1AR
Set up a tribute fund
If you want to keep the memory of a loved one alive and raise money for a great cause, why not set up a tribute fund?
You could ask friends, family and colleagues to make regular donations in his or her name, or you could organise events or challenges to raise money in his or her memory.
For more information about setting up a tribute fund, please call 020 73073444 or email tribute@rafbf.org.uk and one of our team will be happy to help.
Set up an online memorial page
You can create an online memorial page for free on our special tribute site for the RAF family. Friends and family can add their own messages, photographs and donations in memory of your loved one. There is also an online memorial book for the RAF.
