The skies over the seafront at Southend will be filled with the sights and sounds of high speed jets and breathtaking display teams on the Bank Holiday weekend - Sunday 25th & Bank Holiday Monday 26th May 2008 at the 2008 Maxims Casino Southend Airshow.
In it's 23rd year, the Southend Airshow was the first seaside Airshow to be staged in the country. Now it has developed into one of the LARGEST free airshows in Europe and is an event of national standing.
There will be a full afternoon's flying programme on both days. The details are still to be finalised, but you can expect to see firm favourites again this year, such as RAF's premier display team, the Red Arrows and the dare-devil wingwalkers from Team Guinot.
