RAF Cosford Air Show is the Midlands premier air event. The RAF’s world-famous aerobatics team – The Red Arrows – can be seen at the Show along with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which should include the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane. Current combat aircraft from the RAF, along with international participants, are also being lined up.
There is non-stop entertainment on the ground with hundreds of exhibits, colourful stalls and trade stands, military demonstrations and roadshows – plus food, craft fair, bands, children’s entertainment and much more, which makes the air show an attractive day out for all ages and interests from aviation enthusiasts to families. Open too, for ticket holders to the Air Show, is the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford which includes the now world famous Cold War Exhibition.
Cosford is served by a regular train service to a station alongside the RAF base and combined rail and admission tickets can be purchased from Arriva Trains Wales. There is also ample free car parking available on the airfield on the day.
