Enduring and adaptable
Our determination to do our utmost for the RAF family has not changed. How we deliver that help though keeps moving with the times.
Our goals in 2009
We set ourselves 34 goals for the year. Did we reach them?
Relieving stress on stations
The operational tempo is taking its toll on the serving RAF and their families. The RAF Benevolent Fund is doing all it can to take some of the strain.
The ex-RAF community needed more help in 2009
The recession has seen an increase in former members of the
RAF falling into difficulty and being forced to turn to us for help.
90 years at the heart of the RAF family
2009 marked our 90th year at the heart of a robust and vibrant web of support for the RAF family.
Keeping in touch with the RAF family
Our communications met the challenge of engaging our many different audiences, while our fundraising enabled us to do more for more people
In action all over the UK
We now have four regional teams, plus our National Office, working to raise money and awareness of the RAF Benevolent Fund, and striking up local partnerships.
Difficult times – effective spending
Despite total income going down as a result of the recession, we made the decision to help more people as demand for help increased.
2010: what to expect from us
See what we’re setting out to achieve in the coming 12 months.
