A new youth project has been launched at RAF Cranwell with the opening of a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA). The MUGA provides a great sports and leisure space for young people, and will be a pilot for similar facilities on other RAF stations over the next few years.
As well as building MUGAs, the project will assist with:
- Regeneration of existing play parks
- Sports leadership training for 16-20 year olds
- Basic training in youth work for adult volunteers
- Provision of qualified youth work staff
