Gift Aid
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 28 pence from HM Revenue & Customs, helping your donation go further.
This means that £100 can be turned into £128, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.
So if you want your donation to go further, Gift Aid it. It’s that simple!
We can send you a Gift Aid Declaration in advance or after you have made a donation or you may download a PDF version from the link at the foot of this page.
Giving through the Self Assessment Tax Return
Since April 2004 people who complete a Self Assessment tax return are able to nominate a charity to receive all or part of any repayment due to them.
For example, a higher rate taxpayer can reclaim the difference in tax between standard and higher rates on all donations they have made during the year. they can then donate this rebate directly on the new self-assessment forms.
The RAFBF is a participating charity in this new scheme and our identification code, which donors are required to enter on their tax returns, is:-
