The Register concentrates on units connected with World War II military aviation in the British or Commonwealth armed services. Although extensive, it does not claim to be comprehensive.
The totally FREE site dedicated to helping those who are ex-service or serving in the British Armed Forces, whether in the UK or abroad. Help find Army friends, find RAF friends, find Navy friends, find Marine friends and find TA friends.
The blockade of Berlin was the result of a situation which developed mainly as a consequence of decisions made during the war. It was the climax of one phase of a planned deliberate attempt by the Russians to force the Western Allies out of Berlin. The requirement for membership is simply to have been engaged either directly or indirectly on the Berlin Airlift.

The NS(RAF)A was formed in 2000 by a few ex RAF National Servicemen who thought that the era when National Service was common to all, was being forgotten - allied to that was the time factor which makes it necessary for this Association to be active now before it is too late for many of us... We now have a brand new website, find your old comrades, local meetings, members profiles and much more....
OldOppos.co.uk is special because it provides a link of friendship between the serving and the retired, the young and old. It's not a contact website for old comrades, not a reunion website for old comrades, not an association of old comrades. It is not any of these things; it is all of them and more.
The Association was formed in 1990 with the general aims of furthering the recognition and identity of the Fighter Control Branch, and unifying and sustaining a spirit of comradeship among serving and retired members of the Fighter Control Branch
