Here are some top tips to help you host a successful Great British Sunday Lunch.
Where are you having your lunch? At home, on a station, in a pub, even in the village hall.
What donation will you be asking for? It's entirely up to you. It could be £10 a head, £25 a couple, or leave it up to your friends. It's a good idea to tell people this when you're inviting them, so they know what to expect. The pack is full of quirky ideas and games to help maximise your fundraising.
Get invitations out as early as your can. Whether it's a reunion, a family lunch, or with friends on a station, the more notice, the better. Use the invitations in the packs, email or text, or better still, pick up the phone!
Share the preparation out. You might like to do it all yourself. Or you can ask everyone to bring a dish, something to drink, even extra plates, knifes and forks.
RAF it up. This is a fundraising event in celebration of our RAF. So string up the special Battle of Britain bunting from your kit, get the games out and remember to use the special RAF place cards.
