Geoff Ware, Regional Director for the RAF Benevolent Fund, visited the offices of Deafblind UK in Peterborough on Wednesday 12 January to present a donation of £4000.
The money will go towards the organisation's work providing specialist services to deafblind members of the RAF family.
Deafblind's services, which include communicator guides, residential home support, and supported accommodation, provide vital assistance to members of the RAF family in need.
Geoff Ware said: "It’s a great pleasure to present this donation to Deafblind UK, which does such vital work helping deafblind RAF family members achieve the maximum possible independence and the vital support they need.
"Donations like this are a key part of our work as the RAF’s leading welfare charity, helping us work with other charities to deliver targeted specialist care where it is most needed among serving and former RAF personnel and their families."
