Trenchard Squadron from RAF Cosford were on hand to support the event at Masalas Restaurant in Shrewsbury which raised £1,000 for the Fund.
1254-120 Survival Equipment Fitters Course members went along to talk to diners about their course, about the work of the RAF and what it is like living and working at RAF Cosford.
The trainees from RAF Cosford worked relentlessly across 2 sittings in the restaurant, they did everyone proud showcasing their professionalism and community spirit. A fantastic evening was had by all and our thanks go to the restaurant for their hard work and support to both charities.
At the final count of the fundraising £1,000 was donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund and £200 to Combat Stress, a veterans' mental health charity providing treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety.
