Two tough tasks in seven days for fundraiser Emma

One week, two challenges: Emma Morgan takes on a skydive and half marathon in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Emma Morgan is no stranger to taking on a challenge, but this spring she’s taking on two, all in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund. A keen fundraiser for the Fund, Emma will be running the Silverstone Half Marathon and skydiving all in one week.

"Each year I like to challenge myself and if I can do that and raise money at the same time then it's a win-win situation," Emma explains. "I love everything the RAF Benevolent Fund stands for, so fundraising for them is a pleasure."

"I've been fundraising for the last two years for the RAF Benevolent Fund,” Emma continues. "I normally only do 10k runs but this time I really wanted to both challenge myself and go the extra mile for the Fund."

Training for the Silverstone Half Marathon three times a week, Emma is taking her challenges seriously: "Training is tough. Mentally it's harder to go out and train as the event draws nearer, the cold and wet weather is no fun to run in."

But her grit and determination is paying off; having raised over £750 already, Emma is well on track to smash her previous fundraising totals.
