On your bike for charity

Two RAF technicians, recently back from Afghanistan, are taking on a challenge to support the RAF Benevolent Fund.

The two technicians from RAF Benson are setting off on the 'Twin Tailed Tiger Tour'

Corporal Stuart Robertson and SAC Stuart Houghton are both technicians based at RAF Benson where they work on Merlin helicopters for 78 Squadron.

While on deployment in Afghanistan last year they dreamt up a challenge: they would aim to travel to all RAF flying stations in the UK within seven days on 125cc motorbikes.

The pair started at RAF Benson on Saturday 21 July. The 1,850 mile round trip will take them over the UK, to the north west of Wales, all the way up to the north coast of Scotland before arriving back at RAF Benson, avoiding all motorways.

If you see them out on the road, please give them a wave!
