Care Executive (Maternity Cover from 1 June 2018)
Salary: Circa £36k salary and benefits
We are seeking a compassionate and highly organised individual to join the Housing & Care team which delivers care solutions as part of our overall support for the RAF family. Working within a team of welfare executives, you will have responsibility for identifying the needs of beneficiaries, delivering appropriate assistance within delegated spending authority and presenting higher value applications to the Grants Committees of the Fund.
In addition to an ability to handle welfare casework, the Care Executive works closely with the Advocacy Executive to identify when to challenge statutory authorities who are failing to fund essential services, to ensure that the Fund's financial interventions are to
The successful candidate will need to have relevant welfare casework experience and preferably some knowledge of care legislation, although relevant training will be provided. An articulate communicator with IT skills suited to working in a paperless environment, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to people of all ages, especially vulnerable beneficiaries, in a manner which is conducive to relieving stresses and concerns through holistic consideration and delivery of welfare solutions.

You will be the RAFBF Community Fundraiser for the North Eastern area of England supporting the Regional Director and Regional Coordinator in recruiting supporters and donations from across the area. Working alongside other Community Fundraisers from the Central & North Region you will inspire RAFBF Team volunteers at the RAF Units at Leeming, Linton-on-Ouse, Scampton and Waddington to support challenge participants and other activities and events to maximise charitable donations on behalf of the RAF Family. Your area covers the Lincolnshire County that is steeped in RAF heritage and is the home of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Red Arrows!
Every day there will be someone new and interesting to speak with – whether it is a supporter who is kindly making a donation, a benenficiary in the local community or a member of the RAF that wants to fundraise for us. In addition to the many exciting challenge events occuring throughout the region, you will also be working on new projects and campaigns to maximise fundraising income to help more people in need who are turning to us.

This is an exciting position in one of our dynamic fundraising teams based in our London office and involves working alongside the fundraisers in the Relationship Marketing team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the team's fundraising activities and the role will give you a broad experience of fundraising.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual who is interested in a career in fundraising. The successful candidate will need to enjoy working as part of a team, be able to manage their time effectively, meet deadlines and prioritise workload, and show attention to detail.
An articulate communicator with excellent writing and telephone skills, you must be able to demonstrate a willingness to meet supporters' expectations and enjoy working on a variety of projects.
