Activities and entertainment

When you come for a stay at the Princess Marina House, you can enjoy a full range of organised activities and entertainment, including excursions to sites around the local area in our minibus.

If you are feeling more independent-minded, you'll find plenty to explore in and around Rustington and Littlehampton under your own steam.

Princess Marina House is noted for the sense of community that quickly develops among our guests. This is often most evident when taking part in our activities and entertainment.

Patio lunch at Princess Marina HouseOur entertainment team leader ensures that there's always something interesting for everyone to do each day. Activities range from keeping fit to flower arranging to games and quizzes to concerts.

There are often seasonal or themed events that everyone can enjoy, which might include garden barbeques, street parties and Halloween. Local entertainers visit regularly to perform.

Of course, if these sort of activities aren't for you and you want peace and quiet to relax and read, we won't interfere and will do our best to ensure you’re not disturbed.

If you feel like getting out and about and seeing something of the local area, we regularly plan minibus trips.

Our most popular excursions include:

  • theatre visits
  • shopping expeditions
  • the putting green
  • local sports and leisure facilities

We also arrange visits to places of historical interest, such as Arundel Castle.

Guests at Princess Marina House can enjoy a round of golf at Littlehampton Golf Club for just £10. Find out more.

Places to visit

Sussex has many areas of outstanding natural beauty and a diverse landscape. The coastal plain with its expansive beaches contrasts with the forests and country walks you'll find on the South Downs and the Weald.

There are small unspoilt villages as well as vibrant market towns. Littlehampton itself is a quiet harbour town with a number of excellent seafood restaurants.
