Seacot House is a family respite home, recently developed by the RAF Benevolent Fund to provide 1 or 2 week breaks for members of the serving RAF. Its purpose is to provide support for RAF families, with or without children, who find themselves facing difficulties over and above the usual stresses and strains of Service life, and are in need of an affordable respite break.

Seacot House from the gardenSet in its own grounds on Rustington’s seafront in West Sussex, the newly refurbished 3 bedroom house has been fitted with modern facilities, including the latest entertainment systems.

The house boasts beautiful, panoramic views of the Sussex coast and a private garden with direct access to the beach. It also stands adjacent to Princess Marina House, the Fund's registered respite Care Home for members of the RAF who need a more supportive environment.

In addition to its unique seaside position, Seacot House offers many walks and nature trails in the nearby Sussex countryside. Rustington, with its wide range of shops, is right on the doorstep and the seaside town of Littlehampton is also close by.

A diverse mixture of activities including kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, swimming and golf are all locally available, as are numerous amusements for the children. Further afield, the cities of Brighton and Hove as well as Chichester offer cosmopolitan shopping and dining.

Family dining at Seacot House (picture posed by models)Seacot’s relaxing ambience and beautiful surroundings are a perfect setting for members of the RAF and their families, with or without children, to enjoy a peaceful and revitalising short break.

Priority is given to those with demanding welfare needs; for example, sickness, disability, bereavement, convalescence after accidents or injury, or family issues associated with long absences.

Seacot House is open year round and is available at an affordable rate for families in need. Applicants facing financial difficulties may also be able to obtain a supporting grant from the Benevolent Fund.
