Other charities that can help with mental wellbeing support

On this page, you will find a list of other charities who can provide support to help you with your mental wellbeing such as help with PTSD.

BLESMA – Provides grants to ease the effects of disability for those who have lost limbs, the use of limbs, or eyesight during Service.

Blind Veterans UK – Support offered for blind and visually impaired ex-Servicemen and women with the provision of financial aid, nursing and residential care.

Combat Stress – Charity that helps ex-Service personnel suffering from psychological injuries and mental health problems.

Help for Heroes – Help for Heroes offers support to those who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses while serving in HM Armed Forces.

The Royal British Legion / Poppy Scotland – The Royal British Legion and Poppy Scotland provide help and welfare to the serving and ex-Service community and their families.

The Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service – This is a free NHS mental health services for all ex-serving members of the UK Armed Forces and service personnel, including those who are making the transition to civilian life and reservists.
