Battle of Britain Tea Party

September

To mark the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Britain, we are calling on our nation to join us in honouring and giving thanks to those brave airmen who fought for our freedom in the skies of Great Britain.

You can celebrate the efforts of The Few by taking part in the Battle of Britain Tea Party – a wonderful opportunity for all ages to eat, drink and party like its 1940!

How it works

Organise your own Battle of Britain Tea Party either physically with your friends and family (abiding by any social distancing rules) or virtually. Choose a date, decide if you will do a virtual event or a gathering and send out invites before you start planning the fun details.

Why not host your own Guess the Bear’s Name competition as part of your Battle of Britain Tea Party to help boost your fundraising target and keep your guests guessing? Find out more about how you can host your competition here.

How much can you raise?

We are asking if you can raise a minimum of £150.00 at your Tea Party. This is just a suggested amount and when you sign up you'll be given a heap of fundraising materials to help boost your fundraising.

Share your Battle of Britain Tea Party

Don't forget to take some happy snaps of you and your guests at your Battle of Britain Tea Party having a tea-riffic time. Share them on social media and tag us (@rafbf) with the hashtag #BOBTeaParty. You might even encourage your friends and family to host their own Tea Party in support of our RAF Family.
