Leave and Time Off

Annual Leave

26 days’ holiday, excluding public holidays. Annual leave entitlement for part-time staff is calculated on a pro rata basis. 

Additional non-contractual Gratia Days

On top of your 26 days leave and public holidays you receive four days non-contractual gratia leave. Usually, this consists of three and a half days at Christmas and half a day at Easter. However, the dates are subject to change depending how Christmas falls. 

Wellbeing Day

One day per year employees may take in addition to their annual leave to spend doing something that positively impacts their wellbeing.

Long Service Leave

Employees who reach five and 10 years service at the Fund receive an additional 5 days per milestone to be used within 2 years from their anniversary.

Leave Purchase Scheme 

Employees may purchase up to two weeks additional, unpaid leave for exceptional circumstances.



Employees receive free membership of a health cash back scheme. 

Wellbeing Champions 

Mental Health First Aiders, who promote wellbeing initiatives across the Fund.


The opportunity to have a free full membership with Headspace. 

Employee Assistance Programme 

Employees have access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), through WeCare.


Group Personal Pension Plan with Royal London, generous employer pension contribution with personal contributions through salary exchange.

Assistance with travel

The opportunity to take out an interest free loan to assist with travel to and from work (available after first three months of employment).   

Death in service benefit

A lump sum payment equal to 4 x annual salary is paid to a nominated beneficiary in the event of death in service.
