RAF Benevolent Fund Controller Air Vice-Marshal Chris Elliot has been named on the Queen's Birthday Honours List, announced yesterday.

AVM Elliot, who joined the Fund in April this year following a 35-year RAF career, has been made a Companion (CB) in the Order of the Bath.

She said: "I was humbled to be recognised on the Queen's Birthday Honour List and very thankful to all of my colleagues that I have worked with during my service career for their guidance and support. I have had the privilege to learn from so many amazing people and grateful for their trust and support."
