The RAF Benevolent Fund is announced as one of the charity partners for the Birmingham International Tattoo in February 2026.
The event will be held on Saturday 14 February and Sunday 15 February 2026 at the bp pulse LIVE indoor arena.
Over two days, the Birmingham International Tattoo will showcase music, ceremony, and pageantry with a thrilling mix of entertainment and displays for all the family.
It is Britain's biggest indoor tattoo featuring military and other marching bands, pipes and drums, field gun racing, dog racing, standard bearers and dance teams. The 2026 Tattoo will have a RAF theme with musicians from the Band of the Royal Air Force College and the National Band of the Royal Air Force Cadets joining the cast of over 1,000 performers, who will all come together for the spectacular Grand Finale each day.
The partnership with the Fund ensures that £1 from every ticket purchased will go towards supporting the RAF Family. The Fund will also join the two existing Tattoo charities – Royal Star & Garter and Troop Aid – to raise funds at the two performances through a retiring collection and contribution from each souvenir programme sold.
The money raised will go towards supporting the RAF family with financial grants, mental health services, housing and mobility needs.
Ian Collins, Production Director for the Birmingham International Tattoo, said: “We’re delighted to support the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund during the 2026 Tattoo. The Fund does incredible work supporting RAF personnel, veterans, and their families, and it’s an honour for the Birmingham International Tattoo to help raise awareness and funds for such a meaningful cause. Giving back to those who have given so much is something we’re very proud to be part of.”
Ben Alonso, Director of Fundraising at the RAF Benevolent Fund, said: “We’re proud to join forces with the Birmingham International Tattoo for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend celebrating the very best of British military tradition and pageantry. Thanks to the incredible support of Tattoo attendees, we can continue our vital mission to stand by RAF personnel, past and present, and their families when they need us most.”
