Information on the event
The Green Park Reading Half Marathon is one of the UK's most popular road races, bringing together thousands of runners for an unforgettable day.
The 13.1-mile route starts at Green Park before taking you through Reading, including the beautiful grounds of the University of Reading and the town centre. You'll be supported by fantastic crowds and entertainment along the way before experiencing the highlight of the event - an incredible finish inside Reading Football Club Stadium.
Whether this is your first half marathon, a new personal challenge or your chance to chase a PB, join us and make your miles count for the Benevolent Fund.

Every step you take helps us deliver life-changing support. Here is a snapshot of the impact our collective efforts made to the RAF Family in 2025:
- We supported 50,713 serving personnel and their families with community activites and events as well as providing 16,189 with direct support
- We supported 1,521 veterans, their families and the bereaved with community activities and 17,452 with direct support
- 13,579 members of the RAF Family were supported through our mental health and emotional wellbeing services
- The Advocacy team supported 237 people and secured £850k in financial gain and cost savings
- Our dedicated enquiry and referral team handled 10,609 direct enquiries, an increase of 46% from 2024
