The Red Arrows Trust has awarded the RAF Benevolent Fund with a grant for £11,000 to support serving personnel at RAF Waddington.

The grant will go towards financial assistance the Fund provides to serving personnel and their families at RAF Waddington.

The Red Arrows Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to making a positive impact through partnership and sponsorship of worthy causes. The Trust’s income stream comes predominantly from Red Arrows merchandise licenses.

In 2024, the Red Arrows supported the Fund across events including Silverstone, Royal International Air Tattoo, Blackpool Airshow and collaborating on a Red Arrows 60th anniversary coin to raise money for the Fund.

Simon Race, Trustee at The Red Arrows Trust, said: “We are proud to collaborate with organisations, such as the RAF Benevolent Fund, that share our vision of creating a better future for communities across the country.

“Each year, we commit over £100,000 to support a wide range of charitable initiatives. Through our financial contributions we make meaningful differences in areas such as serving and veteran military personnel’s social welfare and healthcare, and aid organisations and community projects that the Red Arrows themselves support.”

Sheila Brazil, Trust and Foundations Manager at the Fund, said: “I’d like to extend my greatest thanks to The Red Arrows Trust for awarding this generous grant which will help us continue our commitment to support members of the RAF Family in need, whenever they need us.”
