Liberty said: “I always wanted to run the London Marathon for the RAF Benevolent Fund. It’s a charity that means a lot to me and my family. My dad and most of his family have served in the RAF, and he was chairman of the Fund for a few years and received a CBE for his contributions to the Fund last year at the Queen’s Jubilee.”

In preparation for the run, Liberty has been training by running with her buggy during her baby’s nap time .

Liberty said: “Training for the London Marathon has been challenging but great fun and I’m happy to be involved.

The Fund does great things for people that have dedicated their lives to service, and I wanted to do something to raise funds for the very worthwhile work that they do.”

The 41-year-old single mum-of-one plans to run the entire length of the marathon and raise an impressive £2000.

Set to take place on the 23rd of April, the London Marathon spans from Victoria to Blackheath.

She continued: “It’s going to be a great event and I cannot wait to have my daughter watch me run.”
