Cairngorm to Coast Hike and Bike 2024

This is a 100km hike and bike challenge that takes place against the backdrop of the magnificent Cairngorm National Park and along the beautiful scenery of the Dava Way. Taking you from the heights of the Highlands to the coast of Moray; it’s the area’s most gruelling but stunning challenge event. 

Participants hike the 30km to Grantown on Spey, through the beautiful Cairngorm National Park and past the iconic Ryvoan Bothy and Lochan Uaine. At Grantown on Spey, they swap onto their bikes and cycle up the stunning Dava Way to Forres before following National Cycle Route 1 and local roads back to Windswept Brewing in Lossiemouth.

Need to know...

Event Date: 25th May 2024
Location: C2C starts at Cairngorm Ski Centre carpark and participants either hike or bike to the Sugar Bowl, through Glenmore Forest, Nethy Forest and Lyngarry towards Nethy Bridge and join the Speyside Way.
Meet Point: Transport departs from Moray Coast Medical Centre, Lossiemouth or The Square, Grantown on Spey
Hike & Bike Depart: 7am sharp
Bike Only Depart: 9am sharp
Finish: by 9pm at Windswept Brewing Co, Lossiemouth
Distance: 100kms
Places are limited to 100 participants inc; 60 hike & bike, 40 bike only and 10 hike only places
Minimum fundraising target: £200
