Fund supports Give Us Time to strengthen RAF Family connections

The RAF Benevolent Fund has awarded a grant to military charity Give Us Time to support serving RAF personnel, veterans and their families spend valuable time away together.

Give Us Time is a military charity dedicated to helping serving personnel, veterans and their loved ones reconnect through donated holidays and family experiences. By working with property owners across the UK and overseas, the charity provides opportunities for military families to take a break from the pressures of Service life and create lasting memories together.

Irene Greenwood, Welfare Programmes Manager at the Fund, said: "We're proud to support Give Us Time in helping RAF personnel, veterans and their families spend valuable time together. These breaks offer more than just time away; they create space to reconnect, strengthen relationships and build resilience for the challenges of Service life."

Lt Col Rupert Forrest MBE (Ret'd), Charity Advisor at Give Us Time, said: "We are extremely grateful to the RAF Benevolent Fund for its generous support. This funding will help us continue creating meaningful opportunities for RAF personnel, veterans and their families to spend time together, strengthen bonds and make lasting memories."

This support is already making a difference for RAF families such as Mark and Laura, who recently visited Scotland through Give Us Time with their three children. During the break, the family spent time on the beach, explored local caves and a lighthouse, and enjoyed simple moments after a busy period.
