Robin Hood Half Marathon
Support RAF Benevolent Fund by taking part in The Robin Hood Half Marathon through one of our charity places. Take on The Robin Hood Half Marathon and help ensure no serving personnel, veteran or family member faces adversity alone.
The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest-running and most popular city centre road races in the UK. A true Nottingham favourite, it’s also the city’s biggest charity fundraising event. Whether you’re a first timer aiming to cross the finish line or a seasoned runner chasing a personal best, this course is designed for all. It’s a single-lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km), traffic-free route that offers a balance of scenic views and steady challenges.

Highlights of the route include:
- The beautiful Victoria Embankment and River Trent
- Views of Nottingham Castle and the Robin Hood Statue
- A unique run through the historic Nottingham Park Estate
- The iconic grounds of Wollaton Park, where you might catch a glimpse of the resident deer
- You’ll finish strong on the Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground, right by the river with the crowd behind you every step of the way
In return for your support you will receive:
- A vibrant branded running vest or top
- Fundraising toolkit and materials to give you ideas on how to reach your target
- Support from your local regional fundraiser with your fundraising and answer any questions about the event
- You'll receive a personalised post event thank you
