Our Telephone Friendship Groups support RAF veterans and their partners or widows(ers) to meet new people.The calls connect up to six people at the same time each week for up to an hour with the aim of reducing social isolation and loneliness.
The Fund has six Community Engagement Workers based in the East and South East of England – Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hampshire, and West Sussex.
Some of our services are aimed at reducing isolation and promoting connections and friendships. These services aren't means-tested and anyone can refer themselves.
