RAF Benevolent Fund Life Vice-President Lady Agnes Humphrey has passed away. Lady Agnes was a long-term supporter of the Fund, and widow of Sir Andrew Humphrey who was Chief of the Defence Staff before his death in 1977.

Air Vice-Marshal Chris Elliot, Controller of the RAF Benevolent Fund, said: "I speak for all the Fund when I say we were saddened to learn of Lady Agnes passing and our sincere condolences go to her family and friends.

"Lady Agnes' dedicated service to the Armed Forces community over the decades since her husband passed away is inspirational. She has selflessly given her time to support not only the work of the Fund, but also many other military charities."
