The Air Training Corps celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2011. To celebrate this historic occasion the Air Cadet Organisation will hold a number of top events and parades throughout the year, all under the title of Air Cadet 70th or AC70.

Many happy returns from everyone at the RAF Benevolent Fund!

We have a close and enduring relationship with Air Cadets. Last year we presented the Air Training Corps with the Wilkinson Sword – our highest accolade for committed supporters. The sword was given in recognition of the outstanding fundraising support air cadets showed for the RAFBF in 2009.

Dean Benton, RAFBF Marketing Communications Director, made particular mention of the "long-standing and incredibly valuable" support of 1475 Dulwich Squadron, who have raised an incredible £31,000 for the charity since 2001, through special fundraising concerts held in memory of their patron, Jack D Lane DFC.

The RAF Benevolent Fund also provides assistance to Air Cadets and Air Training Corps staff as well as serving and former members of the RAF – all part of our commitment to supporting everyone in the RAF family.
