One Heart

Spring is bursting into life all around us! As we leave the winter months behind, we look towards a time of hope, change and positivity.

The season marks a time of fresh starts, just as it did when the RAF took flight in 1918 and when the Fund was established a year later. Today, 107 years on, that same spirit of unity and purpose continues to guide us. Thanks to our amazing supporters, our mission remains steadfast: to bring together our RAF Family and provide the strength, care and opportunity they need to thrive – both during their service and long after it ends.

Still a part of the RAF Family

For RAF veterans, losing the freedom which keeps them connected and engaged with their community can be devastating. Thanks to our support, Robert received the funding he needed to purchase much needed mobility equipment, enabling him to once again be an active and valued member of his local community.

Support within weeks

The Fund’s counselling gave Chris the space and tools to process his experiences so he could begin to rebuild his life. He also received funding towards a resettlement course to train as a celebrant, a step that helped him regain confidence and purpose after leaving the Service.

Ann has a whole new purpose

As someone with a long and accomplished RAF career, being self sufficient is incredibly important to Ann. Without our support, even simple things like making herself a cup of tea could have become difficult, but with the adaptations you funded, she can still do the little things for herself.
